Arrest warrant issued for Trump-loving Colorado clerk after she was seen scuffling with cops: report

Trump-loving Colorado clerk Tina Peters was caught on camera scuffling with police officers on Tuesday, and now there's reportedly a warrant out for her arrest.

According to Denver Channel 9 News reporter Kyle Clark, the arrest warrant for Peters is for "a misdemeanor charge of Obstructing a Peace Officer."

Earlier in the week, Peters was confronted by two Grand Junction police officers who were executing a search warrant related to an investigation into whether she illegally made a video recording of a court session even after being warned against doing so.

Video posted of the confrontation showed Peters defying their search warrant and shouting, "Let go of me!" as they tried to detain her.

At one point, Peters even appeared to try kicking one of the officers.

As Colorado Politics reported earlier this week, Peters is also under investigation for allegedly tampering with Colorado elections systems.

"Peters has been accused of helping facilitate breaches in election system security, ignoring election rules and defying orders from Secretary of State Jena Griswold. She also faces ethics and campaign finance complaints involving gifts she's allegedly accepted above legal limits," Colorado Politics explained. "Last month, Mesa County District Attorney Dan Rubinstein and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser announced that the Mesa County grand jury was investigating allegations of tampering with Mesa County election equipment and official misconduct."

WATCH: Trump supporter at the Capitol on January 6 now calls 'Stop the Steal' movement a 'cult'

    Matthew Chapman
    February 09, 2022

    Keith Scott (CNN).

In an interview with Elle Reeve aired on CNN's "OutFront" Wednesday evening, Keith Scott, a Georgia Trump supporter who was present at the Capitol during the attack on January 6, admitted that he had been sucked in by a "cult" with the Stop the Steal movement.

"I felt like a proud patriot on that day," said Scott. "It's not popular to say, but that's what I felt like. Then just some crazy fight scenes started happening."

"Did you think, are we the bad guys?" asked Reeve.

"I thought, this doesn't end well," said Scott.

"What made you realize this was a cult?" asked Reeve. "This is deeply immoral behavior. It is not patriotic either."

"So after January the 6th, I came here, I kept mumbling, I felt like I just got out of a cult," said Scott.

Notably, Scott made clear he still believed the election had been stolen — largely because he did not believe Black voters could possibly have been that engaged with politics to turn out in the necessary numbers where he lived to win Georgia.

READ MORE: Man says he killed his wife after QAnon believers told him she was a CIA plant

"In that demographic, it's a poor area. It's predominantly a Black area," said Scott. "You will never be able convince me they were sitting around watching CNN and Fox News and all these things and that's what they were most concerned about, was the election and getting their ballot in. If you ask people, is Joe Biden going to get more of the Black vote than Barack Obama? People would say no and Biden supposedly did. It doesn't make any sense." (In fact, Pew Research found Black voters voted 95 percent for Obama in 2008 and 92 percent for Biden in 2020.)

"What makes it frustrating is that though he calls it a cult, he still believes much of the cult's propaganda and still excuses its actions," noted Reeve. "Because our crew was in the middle of the violence, it's hard not to have Keith say it was wrong and he's sorry. Which isn't really fair, because no one with power said they were sorry."

Michigan will remain a cesspool of corruption and undesired election fraud for years to come...

Ballot Drop Boxes and Private Funding of Elections May Become Constitutional Rights in Michigan
    By Steven Kovac
    February 10, 2022 Updated: February 11, 2022
    biggersmaller
    Print
A group called Promote the Vote wants to make private funding of elections, early voting, and the use of ballot drop boxes part of the Michigan Constitution.

The proposed constitutional amendment reads in part, “A county, city, or township conducting an election may accept and use publicly-disclosed charitable donations and in-kind contributions to conduct and administer elections.”

In 2018, Promote the Vote sponsored a successful petition drive that led to voter-approved amendments which allowed no-excuse absentee voting, same-day voter registration, and automatic voter registration for any person having contact with an office of the Michigan Secretary of State.

A little over 425,000 valid signatures must be obtained by July 11 for the initiative to be placed on this fall’s ballot. If approved by voters, the changes would be in effect for the 2024 presidential election.

The proposal, if approved, would mandate the installation and use of at least one “state-funded secure” ballot drop box in every municipality in Michigan. Larger communities would be required to have one ballot drop box for every 15,000 registered voters. The drop boxes would be put in place 40 days before any election and could be used to receive applications for absentee ballots as well as voted ballots.

Early voting would also become a constitutional right in Michigan under the proposal. The amendment mandates that early voting sites must be open for at least nine consecutive days prior to the election and operate for at least eight hours a day. More days and more hours could be added “at the discretion of the election official” in charge in each jurisdiction.

The petition language put forward by Promote the Vote would also prohibit the state legislature from stiffening voter ID requirements. It would restrict the conducting of post-election audits to county officials supervised and directed by the Secretary of State, and bar any participation by representatives of the political parties.

The amendment states, “Election audits shall be conducted in public based on methods finalized and made public prior to the election to be audited.”

Jamie Roe, a long-time Republican activist, told The Epoch Times that honest election reform should make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.

“The Promote the Vote efforts just make it easier to cheat,” he said.

Roe is a spokesperson for Secure MI Vote, an organization circulating a petition to change state statutes to prohibit private donations from funding elections and prohibit the government from sending out absentee ballot applications unless requested by the voter.

The plan requires a photo ID for in-person voting and requires a driver’s license, state ID card, or partial Social Security number on all absentee ballot applications submitted by the voter.

A Democrat website characterized the Secure MI Vote petition as “a deceptive effort to silence the voice of the people…It’s about making it harder to vote and more difficult for clerks to run elections.”

Secure MI Vote must obtain 340,000 valid signatures by June 1 to qualify for the November 2022 ballot.

If the petition drive succeeds, the legislature is permitted by the state constitution to vote to make the Secure MI Vote proposal the law of the land, without it going to a referendum.

Should the legislature not pass the proposal into law, it would then go to a vote of the people.

Both houses of the Michigan legislature have Republican majorities.

“By going through the citizen initiative petition process, and then having the legislature enact them, the provisions will not be susceptible to a veto by Governor [Gretchen] Whitmer,” said Roe.

In October 2021, the Democratic governor vetoed three Republican-sponsored voter ID and election integrity bills.

And yet, I've been required to show ID for each and every election I've ever voted in. Why do we need a special law when it is already a requirement?

I've read that about half the states require id to vote, and the remaining half, while not requiring id, they are required to fill out a provisional ballot, and they must come back about provide proof.

So, which states do not require an id to vote?

Enough to the point that half of the Nation has reformed their election guidelines/process/regulations and laws...and while the hack fuck leftists scream from the mountain tops ''RACISM/SUPPRESSION'' only tells us that they got caught and doing their best to collectively show the voters that they didn't do it.

And you still need proof of this... Oh wait, we do! We got seven States that submitted fraudulent certification letters, all signed by Republican politicians.

Michigan secretary of state seeks investigation after receiving 'credible allegations' of election equipment tampering

Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced Thursday evening that she asked state police and Attorney General Dana Nessel to investigate “multiple credible allegations” her office received this week that at least one unauthorized third party illegally tampered with voting equipment in northern Michigan’s Roscommon County and Richfield Township.

The party reportedly “gained inappropriate access to tabulation machines and data drives” used in Richfield Township and Roscommon County, which Benson noted could require the equipment to be replaced at the taxpayers’ expense. Richfield Township and Roscommon County are located in central northern Michigan, approximately a two-hour drive from Lansing.

State law restricts access to voting equipment to qualified personnel. It is a felony to “obtain undue possession of [a]…voting machine,” according to state law.

Questions remain on voting machines found tampered after northern Michigan twp. break-in

“Protecting the integrity and security of our elections, especially from those who use lies and misinformation to deceive Michigan voters, is a critical component of defending democracy in this moment,” Benson said in a press release. “Michigan law is clear about the security threats that emerge when anyone gains unauthorized access to our election machines or technology, and I will have no tolerance for those who seek to illegally tamper with our voting equipment.”

A Benson spokesperson did not specify when the tampering may have occurred but said “we have no reason to believe the unauthorized access was gained prior to the 2020 election.”

Shanon Banner, a spokeswoman for Michigan State Police, confirmed Friday that they are “investigating the allegation.” A spokesperson for Nessel said the attorney general’s office has “received the referral and have no additional information to share at this time.”

An individual who answered the phone at the Roscommon County Clerk’s office said that “due to pending investigation, there is no comment.” The Richfield Township Clerk’s office is not open on Fridays and did not respond to a request for comment.

In addition to requesting the investigation from law enforcement, Benson, a Democrat, sent a letter to all of Michigan’s 1,603 county, city and township clerks on Thursday regarding the possible security breach and what to do if they become aware of an incident in which an unauthorized third party has attempted to gain, or been given improper access, to voting equipment.

“I write to remind you of your responsibility under the law to work with the Bureau [of Elections] to prevent future risks and address any that are outstanding,” Benson wrote in that letter. “If you are aware of any incidents in which an unauthorized third party has attempted to gain or has been given improper access to voting equipment, you have a duty to report this immediately.”

In that letter, Benson also thanked clerks for their work.

“As we work to prepare for safe and secure 2022 elections, I know that, as the local and county officials running Michigan’s elections on the front line, you are aware of the importance of safeguarding voting equipment, and protecting the integrity of our election systems,” Benson wrote. “I also know that pressure has mounted on all of you in recent years, and yet you continue to demonstrate your dedication to the security and integrity of Michigan elections.”

Roscommon County, a Republican area that voted for former President Donald Trump in the November 2020 election, is located about 65 miles south of Antrim County — where a quickly corrected mistake on Election Night paved the way for national conspiracy theories that Trump won the election.

The 2020 election was not close, and Biden defeated Trump by more than seven million votes and won the Electoral College 306-232. In Michigan, Biden beat Trump by 154,000 votes.

While Republicans, including Michigan GOP Co-Chair Meshawn Maddock, have continued to promote the false idea that Trump won, numerous investigations have proved otherwise. An investigation by the Republican-controlled Senate Oversight Committee, court rulings and audits have upheld the results of Michigan’s 2020 election.

Benson’s office noted the Antrim County incident in its Thursday statement. Following the uproar around Antrim in the 2020 election, a judge in northern Michigan allowed Trump supporters to access tabulators and data in the county. That was used to create a report that made false allegations of election fraud.

“The report was thoroughly debunked by multiple election experts, but not before it was cited as the reason for the federal government to seize tabulation machines in a draft executive order of former president Donald Trump,” Benson’s press release said. “Another submission in the same case in Antrim County claimed to include an image from an Elections System and Software tabulator, the vendor that provides tabulators to all Roscommon County jurisdictions.”

You're such a good little hack fuck leftist, tourist.

Re-counting the ballots sure doesn't and never will provide the evidence required to account for 'election fraud'...that only looks good on the surface.

As Half cracker once said...''No one cares about the process, dont worry about the process, just get it done''...

Well tourist... the process was looked at...and the evidence and the circumstances are there, and reformed.

So put up, where this evidence of ELECTION FRAUD?

And how about those seven States that filed fraudulent certification letters? Does that register on your "election fraud-o-meter"?

Stop, you're hurting me!’ Trump-loving Colorado clerk melts down in new body cam video of arrest

    John Wright
    February 12, 2022

Newly released police body cam video shows Trump-loving Colorado clerk Tina Peters breaking down in tears while resisting arrest on Tuesday in Grand Junction.

"The video shows police officers responding to the Main Street Bagels, where the District Attorney’s Investigators were inside, attempting to serve a search warrant for Peters’ iPad," according to the local ABC affiliate. "The officers were called when investigators said Peters was obstructing. According to the DA’s office said, the iPad may contain an illegally recorded court hearing."

"Let go of me!" Peters yells at officers repeatedly in the video. “You’re hurting me!"

Peters is also shown "crumbling to the ground," as an arrest affidavit later described it, as officers try to escort her to a patrol vehicle.

Previously released video showed Peters attempting to kick the officers while being handcuffed, which led to misdemeanor charges being filed against her. She turned herself in on Thursday before being released on bond.

"You’re assisting Merrick Garland!" Peters tells officers after they place her in the backseat of the patrol car in the new video.

Appearing Saturday on the Conservative Daily Podcast, Peters continued to push the conspiracy theory that her arrest was part of a plot by the federal government, even suggesting that someone in Washington might have her killed.

"And you have the opposition that you're getting from the top — you know, this is coming from DC," Peters said on the podcast. "And I want to say right now that I'm not depressed, I've never thought of killing myself. If some crazy accident happens, I'm a very good driver, I have a perfect driving record — I've never thought of harming myself — so if anything happens to me, then I want people to know that it was not an accident, as grim as that might seem."

Watch the body cam video in four parts, as well as the clip from the podcast, below.
